Imran to judge F1 Grid Girls

Imran Khan joins the panel of judges who will audition girls from all over the country .

As we race towards the 2011 Formula 1 Airtel Grand Prix of India – and the excitement to be the ‘face of the race’ heats up – the Airtel Grid Girls Hunt will unfold in a series on zoOm. Picking the Grid Girls will be a glam panel of judges: fashion guru Prasad Bidapa, Pantaloons Femina Miss India-International 2011 Ankita Shorey, and adding star power will be actor Imran Khan.

Imran will judge the contest in the city, and said, “Competitions are always exciting. It’ll be very interesting to see all the contestants race to be number one. I can’t wait to see the final winner.” This petite woman at the India Mens Week’s last day shows was none other than Avantika, wife of actor Imran Khan.

She was in an impeccable dress and the perfect make-up. So everyone wondered about the celebrity. Even Avantika herself was blissfully unaware of all this and her surroundings, and sat on the front row for Karan Johar and Varun Bahl’s show, chatting happily with the few who’d come with Karan, Katrina and Imran’s entourage. But that was till Imran returned after walking the ramp. She was already backstage, waiting. “You looked so good. You did great,” she told Imran, and gave him a hug.
