Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl to form women wing

KARAK, Sept 12: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Monday approved formation of its women wing in Karak district.

The approval was given during a meeting of the party`s District Executive Council at Amberi Kalay on Monday. The council also considered names for the women wing.

MNA Mufti Muhammad Ajmal, who chaired the meeting, said women wing would help address problems of womenfolk. He said development funds given to him for Karak would be used in consultation with JUI-F workers. The MNA also promised to ensure early supply of drinking water and gas to the area.

He said he had in contact with the relevant departments for the purpose. Ajmal urged Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited to expedite work of gas supply. He asked party workers to prepare themselves for the upcoming local body and general elections.
