Iran: Head of the World Shia Studies Center said over 100,000 copies of books with Shia themes have been sent abroad in the past 2 years.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Boyerahmadi was speaking at a congress held by the center.
He referred to the activities of the center saying it conducts research, holds conferences and specialized forums, and has set up a website in four languages.
He said it has also founded a specialized library of Shia books and set up a department for the affairs of Mostabser (those who have converted to Shia Islam).
Hojat-ol-Islam Boyerahmadi added that the World Shia Studies Center was founded to spread the culture of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to Anti-Shia moves and said the US spy agency has a deputy for religions affairs to propagate against religions. “Two years ago, the CIA formed a separate deputy to specifically attack Shia Islam.”
