ISLAMABAD: Former foreign minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in presence of Imran Khan at a public gathering here on Sunday in Ghotki bordering Sindh district with Punjab, said that the atomic programme is not safe in presence of Zardari and time has come to send the present corrupt rulers home .
Qureshi, who joined Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaaf party at a rally in Ghotki on Sunday, said, “Pakistan’s nuclear program is unsafe as long Asif Ali Zardari was at the helm of affairs.”
Qureshi alleged, “Zardari has turned the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) a backyard of the CIA.”
Qureshi added, “I will make more disclosures in this regard before Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally in Karachi on Dec. 25.”
Earlier, Qureshi formally joined Imran’s party in his presence.
Earlier, addressing the rally, Imran said that he has come to Ghotki to invite Qureshi to join his party. He said that time has come for a revolution in Pakistan and added, “It is time to build new Pakistan.”
Qureshi left the PPP and Zardari government on CIA contractor Raymond Davis case, said Imran’s party will provide genuine leadership to Pakistan in future.
