International Anwar Al-Hussain TV dedicated to Shia values launched in US

The first international English channel dedicated to Shia values has been launched to honor the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein.

Anwar Al-Hussein TV, which was launched on December 12, 2011, is an independent channel based in the US that intends to promote a better understanding of Islam and the Shia tradition as well as ethical and ideological issues.

According the official website of Anwar Al-Hussain TV, the channel aims to present the Shia ideology and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) helping the audience understand the values of Imam Hussein and the reasons he was martyred.

Anwar Al-Hussain TV can be received on Hot Bird satellite, frequency: 11317, vertical position, symbol rate: 27500, FEC ¾.

The channel also broadcasts on Galaxy19 satellite, frequency: 12060, horizontal position, symbol rate: 22000, FEC ¾.

A full HD receiver is needed to receive the TV channel.
