Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Condemns desecration of the Holy Quran by NATO forces

Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind while addressing to media persons at a press meet held at its Headquarters in New Delhi said: “The NATO forces have been continuously perpetrating atrocities in Afghanistan and they have once again committed the crime of desecration of the Holy Quran”.

 He said that this is a much uncivilized extremely inhuman and deeply painful act. The criminals should be given exemplary punishment so that this atrocity is not repeated, demands President of JIH.

 Umari noted that the Holy Quran is the scripture sent down by the Creator and Master of the Universe for guidance and salvation of the entire humanity. It is the height of depravity that some people, blinded by prejudice, commit the crime of desecrating it.

 Maulna Ejaz Ahmed Aslam, Secretary of Jamaat and other leaders of the Jamaat were also present on the Press-Meet.
