Aamir Khan has admitted that Azaad has featured in one of the promotional videos for his upcoming television show Satyamev Jayate, reports DNA.
“Half the time I shot the campaign, Azad was in my lap. Once when Kiran wasn’t around, we even shot a promo featuring Azad. At first, I told her that we shot a promo with him and it looked very good. Then I told her that I was kidding and we wouldn’t use it,” Aamir told the daily.
Aamir and his second wife Kiran Rao’s son was born on December 1 last year, to a surrogate mother through IVF. The couple has named the boy Azad, after freedom fighter and independent India’s first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Aamir’s great grand uncle.
The actor, who also has a son, Junaid, and a daughter, Ira, from his first wife Reena, loves playing with his new bundle of joy.
“Earlier, I was working from home, so I spent a lot more time with him. But now that I’m shooting and return late, I wake him up, very gently,” adding, “When he sees me, his face lights up. I spend an hour or so with him before going to bed,” the actor told DNA.
