Irfan, Yusuf Pathan celebrate Eid

Irfan and Yusuf Pathan wished friends and teammates and offered prayers at Vadodara on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr on Monday.

“It is not only we celebrate the Eid festivals. We have many Hindu friends and reciprocate our wishes on Hindu festivals like Raksha Bandhan, Janmasthami and Diwali. We fire crackers on Diwalis too,” Yusuf and Irfan said.

“The month of Shravan in Hindu is as holy as Ramadhan in our community and both come together almost every year, indicating Hindus and Muslims are brothers.”

“The celebration is not going to be unusual. We all family members will celebrate together. My father, Mehmood Khan has been serving in the mosque since he was 14.”
